The life of plants

In order to enjoy the beauty of the plants decorating our room we must ensure some conditions allowing them to maintain and increase their beauty and thus create a good mood.

Temperature

The level of room temperature will be monitored on a regular basis, according to the requirements specific to the plants. We should not forget that flower plants do not like sudden changes of temperature, from one day to another or from day to night.

During cloudy and foggy days, when there is not much light, temperature may be 3-4°C lower than the usual level. According to that, the quantity of water will also be decreased as well as watering frequency.

Light

Inside light can be set according to the requirements of the flowers, by placing the pots of lowers closer to the window or not, by using artificial lighting, by covering the window with blinds, curtains, etc. Since very often the light comes from one single part of the room, it is useful to rotate the pots of flowers every couple of days.

There are also plants that are sensitive to this movement and therefore lose their buds and flowers.

Water

Water is essential for preserving the plants’ life. In its absence, they will fade and eventually dry out.

The water has the role of transporting and maintaining a permanent state of turgor of the cells, so as plants may normally develop all physiological processes.

Watering must be done with great care, the quantity of water and the frequency in time depending on the species, dimensions, season and resting states, etc.

Besides that, it is necessary to reach a balance between humidity and the other factors: light, temperature. If one is increasing or decreasing then the watering frequency will also be higher or lower.
